ABOUT THE FOUNDER

AERIELL ARMAS

Dr. Aeriell Armas is a Latina speaker and researcher with a background in clinical psychology. In response to a lack of representation in higher education, she created Grad Life Grind back in 2019 to help other first-generation students from historically underrepresented backgrounds apply to and succeed in graduate school. Outside of GLG, Dr. Armas conducts clinical research in addiction science, with a focus on intimate partner violence among Latina women.
